Ankur Warikoo was born on 1980, 25th of August in New Delhi. He belongs to Kashmiri Pandit’s parents. He is the son of Mr. Ashok Warikoo and Mrs. Neerja Warikoo. Talking about his father’s occupation, he used to work at a medical firm back in the day. He grew up with his sister who is 6 years younger than him. He completed his school at Don Bosco School which is located in New Delhi, Alaknanda. Talking about his bachelor’s academic career, he graduated in Physics from Hindu College which is also located n Delhi. From, the Indian School of Business, he received his MBA. After that, he went on to pursue his Ph.D. in astrophysics at Michigan State University and dropped out later on.
Warikoo discovered his interest in entrepreneurship and went on to pursue his career as an entrepreneur. After accumulating much knowledge and experience, he started his first startup named Accentium Web in 2008. Later on in 2011, he was appointed as the CEO of Groupon India. He was also appointed as the CEO of Nearbuy.com in 2015. But, after being CEO of Nearuy.com for 4 years he stepped down from the post. His hard work, determination, persistence, and discipline proved that, he was born to be a CEO and a multi-millionaire.

Ankur Warikoo has a very beautiful love story with his wife named Ruchi Budhiraja. They met each other at the age of 19 on a bus on the way to their college. After talking to each other, they became friends but after talking to each other for a long time, they caught an emotion for each other and fell in love. They married each other in 2007. They have given birth to one son and one daughter. The daughter’s name is Uzma Warikoo and the son’s name is Vidur Warikoo. He also loves reading books, practicing meditation, doing exercise, and spending quality time with his loved ones.
