Music in Lucifer

The series Lucifer included numerous scenes in which the main character Lucifer had to sing or play the piano.

On-screen, Ellis did not play the piano. Ellis stated in early interviews for the show that he did not know how to play the piano. His 2019 video, in which he sang while accompanying himself on the piano, proved that he had added the skill of playing the piano to his repertoire. In subsequent interviews, he confessed that he was still merely playing “air piano” in Lucifer’s scenes.

Nonetheless, Ellis provided his voice throughout the show. He had appeared in several musical episodes of Lucifer, including ‘A Priest Walks Into A Bar,’ ‘Everything’s Coming Up Lucifer,’ ‘Let Pinhead Sing!,’ ‘Everything’s Okay,’ and ‘Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam.’ In the series, he performed songs like ‘Heart and Soul,’ ‘Wicked Game,’ ‘Creep,’ ‘Every Breath You Take,’ and ‘I Dreamed A Dream‘.

Charity Work
