Zach’s Childhood

He was born in Okinawa, Japan. Dewayne and Annette DeAnn Bryan, Zach’s parents, were stationed there as part of a U.S. Navy mission.  His mother became a Certified Nursing Assistant, while his father served in the United States Navy. Bryan also has a sister, MacKenzie Taylor.

Zach was about twelve years old when Dewayne and Annette got divorced. After the divorce, Zach moved in with his father, who later got married again and was granted full custody. Zach, however, maintained a close relationship with his mother, who struggled with alcoholism and passed away in 2016 at the age of 49.

Zach’s family moved to Oologah, Oklahoma, which is close to Tulsa when he was in the eighth grade. His sister claims that he started playing the guitar in middle school. Bryan wrestled for the Oologah High School team and presided over the student council, so music wasn’t his only passion. However, he was intrigued by the concept of using songs to convey tales. “At the age of 14, my friends and I would make up these silly songs while we were hanging around, and I never thought I would be a musician“, he stated to The Oklahoman.  “But I always wanted to write songs. That’s what I wanted to do: I wanted to be a songwriter”.

Bryan was also adamant about carrying on the family tradition—his great-grandfather, dad, uncles, and grandfather had all served in the U.S. Navy. At the age of 17, he enlisted.

Zach’s Early Life

Bryan joined the Navy as an aircraft ordnance man after graduating from high school. It was his job to load, disassemble, and repair firearms. Bryan served tours of duty in Bahrain and Djibouti while stationed in Washington and Florida. Regarding his duty in 2021, he remarked, “It’s all I lived, slept, and ate for eight years, it’s all I knew since I was basically a snot-nosed child“. “It really made me into a man“.

Bryan used his free time to record songs. In 2015, he started sharing music videos on the internet. In 2019, he collaborated with pals from the Navy to create his debut album, DeAnn, which is his mother’s middle name, at an Airbnb in Florida. 2020 saw the release of his second album, Elisabeth, which had his breakthrough hit, “Heading South“. With millions of views, the video that was taken in Bryan’s Navy barracks went viral.

Bryan, who is still serving in the military, made his stage debut at Nashville, Tennessee‘s renowned Grand Ole Opry in April 2021 as a rising star in the country music scene. Bryan declared shortly after that he had been granted an honorable discharge from the Navy, allowing him to focus on his musical career in October.

Zach’s Net Worth

Zach Bryan’s estimated net worth as of 2023 is $8 million. His financial success has been greatly aided by his growing popularity in the music industry.

His wealth was amassed from live performances, music releases on numerous social media platforms, and album sales.

Music Career

Before the release of American Heartbreak, his first significant studio album, Bryan released a number of singles in early 2022. Among them was “Something in the Orange“, which has been his biggest hit to date. In the end, it peaked at No. 1 on the charts for Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Country Songs. Additionally, “Orange” peaked at No. 10 after spending 66 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was also included in an alternate form of American Heartbreak. Bryan’s status as a rising star was cemented when his 34-track triple album, which was released in May 2022, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and broke records for single-day streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

Appearance on Yellowstone

Bryan’s music has been heavily utilized in Kevin Costner’s drama series Yellowstone on the Paramount Network. His reputation has increased along with that of several other musicians, such as Flatland Cavalry and Whiskey Myers, thanks to the TV show.

Bryan’s song “Condemned” was originally featured on Yellowstone in Season 3 in 2020. Other songs on the soundtrack include “Whiskey Fever,” “Flying or Crying,” and “The Good I’ll Do.” Bryan sang three songs from his Summertime Blues EP—”Motorcycle Drive By,” “Quittin’ Time,” and “Summertime Blues”—at a country fair in an episode of Yellowstone’s fifth season that aired in December 2022. Bryan described the feeling as one of being “Humbled and honored and don’t know what I did to deserve it.”

Zach’s Relations

According to Page Six, Bryan was married to Rose Madden, whom he met while in the service. The couple got hitched in July 2020 and got divorced in July 2021, one year apart. Still, not much else about Madden is known, such as her rank throughout her service. It’s thought that the singer named his album Elisabeth after her, despite the fact that he has never officially acknowledged this. Elisabeth Rose Madden is her complete name.

Bryan is presently seeing Brianna LaPaglia after his divorce. At the ACM Awards in May 2023, Het got to know Brianna Chickenfry, a well-known figure from Barstool Sports. At a New York City concert, LaPaglia joined Bryan onstage, and in July 2023, she made it official that the two were dating. She stated, “We’re just hanging out, having fun,” on the PlanBri Uncut podcast. “I’m happy, we’ll see where it goes.”
