Rami Said Malek is an American actor, known by his stage name Rami Malek. Malek was born on May 12, 1981. Known for his roles in the television series Mr. Robot (2015–2019) as computer hacker Elliot Alderson, for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Malek was listed as one of the top 100 influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2019.
Since his breakthrough, Malek has acted as the lead antagonist Lyutsifer Safin in the James Bond movie No Time to Die (2021), played David Hill in Christopher Nolan’s biographical film Oppenheimer (2023), and starred in Papillon (2017) and The Little Things (2021).

How was the early life of Rami Malek?
Rami Malek was born and raised in Torrance, California in the US. Malek was the son of Egyptian immigrants Said and Nelly. His mother worked as an accountant, and his father insurance salesman. He has an identical twin brother named Sami and an older sister named Yasmine.
In his early life, Malek attended Notre Dame High School in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles. He spent his freshman year on the debate team there. His debate teacher was impressed by his dramatic interpretation, even though he had trouble with rhetoric, and encouraged him to pursue drama. Later on, he performed in the one-man show “Zooman and the Sign“.
