Julian Nagelsmann was a German Professional Football Manager who managed different popular teams like Bayern Munich from 2021-2023, RB Leipzig from 2019-2021, and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from 2016-2019. Early Life and Career
Julian Nagelsmann was born in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria in 1987, 23th of July. He is the son of Mr. Erwin Nagelsmann and Mrs. Bergi Nagelsmann. He developed a passion for football from a very early age. Nagelsmann did his academics in business administration at the university for only four semesters. He used to play in different youth clubs but unfortunately, he had to retire at an early age of 20 due to various injuries. That didn’t stop him from being involved in the football field.
Nagelsmann became very interested in coaching football teams. Nagelsmann got his first opportunity to coach a youth football team in 2010, named 1899 Hoffenheim’s. He coached different teams of different age levels in 1899 Hoffenheim . He finally got appointed to coach A division league team in 2016, with a 3 years contract. Nagelsmann made history by becoming the youngest coach in Bundesliga History.
After his contract expired, he got an offer to coach RB Leipzig, which lasted for 2 years. He gained a lot of experience and knowledge regarding coaching. Nagelsmann received an unexpected contract from one of the best clubs in the world, “Bayern Munich”. He was appointed as the head coach of Bayern Munich on 27 April 2021, after having a very good time in the club, winning matches, and having a very good champions league run, he got sacked on 24th of March, 2023.
Personal Life
Nagelsmann has a very lovely story with his wife Verena. They have known each other from childhood. After knowing eachother for several years and having a emotion for eachother, they took their relation to the next level by marrying in 2018. They had two children. But, sadly the story didn’t turned out as expected. They separated in 2023 after reports revealed that he was dating sports reporter named Lena Wurzenberger.
Nagelsmann also played ice hockey while he was in Augsburg. He loves skateboarding, mountain biking, and skiing. He is also a pure vegetarian as he stands for the animal also having the right to live and environmental protection.
